From One Truck to $8M.
Now Building Mooxy.
I am Igor Simic, founder of Mooxy. Before this, I built and exited a moving company that scaled from one truck in Maryland to $8M in revenue across three markets. Mooxy is the system I wish I had on day one.
The story
I started Zip Moving and Storage in 2015 out of Maryland with one truck. By 2016 we hit our first million in annual revenue. In 2018 we expanded into Chicago and Atlanta. In 2019 we ranked #877 on the Inc. 5000. By 2020 we were doing $8M in annual revenue. In 2026 I exited the operating side to build Mooxy full-time.
Every Field Note on this site is written from inside that experience. The mistakes are mine. The wins are mine. The systems are the ones that actually worked when the trucks were rolling.

Why Mooxy
The first five years of running the company, my system was a spreadsheet and a stack of paper estimates. The next five years, my system was a patchwork of three CRMs that all almost worked. None of it was built for movers.
Mooxy is what I would have bought on day one if it had existed. Lead management, instant branded quotes, multi-stop estimates, dynamic pricing, and a client portal that makes a two-truck operation look like a fifty-truck operation. Built by someone who shipped the trucks.
Most movers do not need more software. They need software that was built for them. That is what Mooxy is.
